Energy Medicine
The word chakra is Sanskrit for “wheel”. The chakras in the body spin like wheels creating vortexes in the body. We have seven major chakras and hundreds of smaller chakras. All of the chakras work synergistically and are the foundation of our body’s energy system.
Energy is all around us and we are constantly sending and receiving energy through our chakra’s. The energetic system acts as a filter and processing center for our daily interactions with people and circumstances.
Have you ever walked in the room and felt that the “energy” was so thick you could cut it with a knife? Or how about that certain person that you get a “weird vibe” after only spending ten minutes with them? In contrast, are there people in your life that make you feel really happy when you are around them? These are common examples of energy being exchanged through the chakras.
Just like our physical body, the energetic system requires care and re-balancing from time to time. Years of unresolved emotion and/or physical pain create large blockages in the energetic system. All of the chakra vortexes ideally should be spinning in a clockwise direction and should be vibrant in their color. All of the chakras except for the first and seventh extend horizontally out of the body in cone shapes. The first chakra extends down and in-between the legs and the seventh chakra extend out of the top of the head. Both of these chakras are in a cone shape.
Energy Medicine is a term that encompasses many different complimentary healing modalities. In your healing session with me, I will draw from several different healing techniques depending on what you, your soul and body need at that time.
During the session, you will relax comfortably on a massage table (fully clothed). The first thing I do is a total body scan to see how the energy is flowing and how your chakras are looking. During the scan I often receive messages from many avenues. Sometimes it will be from your soul or your own guides and angels, and oftentimes my guides and angels will deliver the messages.
I will always tell you about the impressions I receive at an energetic level and you are welcome to ask questions, in fact, I encourage you to! It is up to you to decide whether or not to take action on the messages. After a session most clients report feeling calm and relaxed with a greater sense of clarity and peace in life.
